Take Care of Yourself During This Difficult Time

As an adult, a “grown-up,” you’re expected to take care of your responsibilities. To your family, your kids, your boss and co-workers, and everyone else who has a claim on your time and attention.

It’s easy to neglect yourself in regular life. It’s even easier, in a sense, when you’re dealing with the loss of a pet. By focusing on everyone else’s feelings, you can avoid your own – at least for a little while.

But sooner or later, you’ll need to address the feelings of grief you’ll experience upon the death of your pet. We hope you’ll find the following guides, articles, and bits of inspiration to be considerate, useful, and even hopeful in moving you along in the stages of grieving.

If you read these and want to add your own thoughts, advice, and experiences, please join us in the PetLossCare.com Forum.
